Hope you
enjoy learning about our school and District
17. We are filled with a caring staff from
kitchen to teachers to bus drivers to support
staff.
It is every
child’s right to learn to his/her full
potential and the staff of Galloway School is
dedicated to fulfilling this right. We believe
that children learn in a situation where love
and understanding are coupled with mutual
respect – students for adults, adults for
students. Freedom must be present within the
confines of a structure that allows protection
for the rights of all individuals. Children
need to know what they can and cannot do and
that they will be treated fairly, equally, and
consistently. Complete freedom only promotes
chaos and does not present a true picture of
our world. Our ultimate objective in education
is effective citizenship.

 ABOUT
OUR SCHOOL
N. B. Galloway Elementary School houses second
through fourth grade classes. Our building
begins at 8:20 and dismisses at 3:10 p.m. All
bus students will enter through the center
doors and will be supervised by members of the
staff until the bell rings at 8:17 a.m.
Students will proceed to their homerooms.
Students riding the bus will arrive between
8:10 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Read
