In keeping with its proud tradition, Channahon District 17 is dedicated to providing for the academic, physical and social development of all students, staff and community members in an interactive, caring, safe environment that emphasizes real life applications and challenges each individual to be a productive citizen and lifetime learner who deals effectively with others and the changing world.

Weather Cancellations For Tuesday (2/9)

The wrestling meet for today, Tuesday, 2/9, at Ottawa Shepherd has been cancelled. There will not be any wrestling practice today.
Volleyball is cancelled for today (2/9).
Scholastic Bowl is cancelled for today (2/9).

Presidents Day: No School - Monday, February 15th, 2010

School Board Meeting: Monday, February 22nd, 2010 (7pm) @ Pioneer Path School.

Athletic Awards Night: for 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys basketball and cheerleading will be held on Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 @ Channahon Jr High (7pm).

Kindergarten Round-Up: Thursday, February 25th, 2010 @ Pioneer Path School: 10:00am till 12:00pm and 5:00pm till 7:00pm. Please bring your completed registration packet and fees to either round-up session. In addition, TO REGISTER A PARENT MUST SUPPLY THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: (More Info Here)

Teachers Institute Day: No school for students - Friday, February 26th, 2010.

School Board Meeting: Monday, March 22nd, 2010 (7pm) @ Pioneer Path School.

School Improvement Day: Early dismissal for students - Friday, March 26th, 2010 - CJH/TRS @ 11am, PP/NBG @ 11:30am. No PM Kindergarten, No PM EarlyChildhood.

Spring Break: No School - Monday, March 29th, 2010 through Monday, April 5th, 2010.
